Our Curriculum
Our Experience Learning curriculum has diverse and rich content. It includes art, science, math, reading, literature, music and movement, outdoor activities, and more. Our intention is to foster social interaction, independent play, exploration, and creativity. We have a kids garden where our learners can grow plants and harvest fruits & vegetables.
We also have a free range hen yard where children can harvest eggs for home.
Children 2-1/2 to 6yrs. enjoy fun and educational activities in a healthy and safe place. Chidren grow, feel loved, love themselves and others.

About Us
In 2010, we opened Shepherd Christian Preschool to follow our calling. The joy we get in watching children grow and to be part of their lives is very special. We and our staff love working with kids and helping families. Our founder has a degree in education science, which is evident in every aspect of our operations.
Based in Atascadero, CA, our school is located on 2 acers of a 1917 historical colony homesite. The school is an converted horseless carriage house. Parents will find a quality educational program geared to meet the needs of every child. Our teachers understand young children and what specific skill development is meaningful to this age group.
